I'm surprised that Blue Bird doesn't require 12R22.5 tires for an AARE. What is your bus's GVWR? If it's about 37000 lbs, do 11R22.5 have enough load capacity? FYI, my 37400 GVWR bus with Budd 8.25" wheels was specified by Crown with 12R22.5 H tires, and I would never fit anything narrower or with less load range than that size. I found it with all of the owners manuals and a few other papers with the specs on my bus. According to this sheet, my 77 pass Freightliner Thomas is overall 470" long or 39.166 ft long, and the spec sheet for our 65 pass Thomas Freightliner has an overall length of 422.8" or 35.233ft.
